“NHÂN DANH CHA VÀ CON VÀ THÁNH THẦN. AMEN”

Khi làm dấu thánh giá, chúng ta nhận biết mình thuộc về Chúa Kitô, bày tỏ niềm tin của chúng ta vào Chúa Kitô đã chết trên thánh giá vì chúng ta, chúng ta nói lên lòng ước muốn đón nhận sự phong phú khôn lường của thánh giá và ước muốn liên kết đời sống chúng ta với đời sống của Chúa Kitô chết trên thánh giá. Vậy, thánh giá quả là dấu chỉ sự cứu độ, sự cứu chuộc và sự phục sinh. Dấu thánh giá còn nhắc chúng ta về bí tích Thánh Tẩy của mình, bởi chúng ta đã được rửa tội “nhân danh Chúa Cha, và Chúa Con và Chúa Thánh Thần”.

Bằng cử chỉ đưa tay lên trán, rồi xuống ngực và qua hai bên vai trái – phải, kèm theo lời “Nhân danh Cha và Con và Thánh Thần” dù được đọc thành tiếng, đọc thầm hay thậm chí không đọc, thì việc ghi Dấu Thánh Giá cũng biểu lộ cách tuyên xưng niềm tin vào Thiên Chúa cách đơn giản, kiên vững và rõ ràng nhất.

Nếu như lúc khởi đầu một ngày mới, khi bắt đầu một công việc hoặc khi gặp những biến cố bất ngờ… ta làm Dấu Thánh Giá để nguyện xin Chúa Cha làm chủ – hướng dẫn – soi sáng tâm trí, để Chúa Con uốn nắn biến đổi trái tim luôn biết yêu thương, và để Chúa Thánh Linh thánh hóa trọn vẹn từng thời khắc; thì cũng vậy, khép lại một ngày sống, kết thúc những kế hoạch, dự định… ta cũng làm Dấu Thánh Giá để dâng lên Thiên Chúa Ba Ngôi tâm tình tôn vinh – chúc tụng – tạ ơn – tạ lỗi – và xin ơn. Có thói quen làm Dấu Thánh Giá trước mọi việc, cả khi ăn uống, nghỉ ngơi, ở mọi nơi, mọi thời, mọi hoàn cảnh ta sẽ được nhắc nhớ và thêm ý thức làm tất cả các hoạt động “vì danh Thiên Chúa Ba Ngôi.”

Sống đức tin nơi đời thường, khi tham dự các nghi thức trong phụng vụ, đọc kinh, cầu nguyện nơi nhà thờ, trong cộng đoàn, tại gia đình hoặc trong một nhóm gồm các thành viên có chung niềm tin vào Chúa: cánh tay ta đưa lên “nhân danh Cha và Con và Thánh Thần” với sự tự nhiên bởi đã rất thân quen với Dấu Thánh Giá. Ước mong sao khi ra khỏi không gian, nơi chốn đã ươm mầm, nuôi dưỡng hạt giống đức tin, ta bước vào xã hội rộng lớn nơi trường học, khu vui chơi giải trí, chỗ ăn uống, khu dân cư, nơi công cộng, hoặc trong các mối tương quan với rất nhiều người khác biệt tôn giáo… thì trong ta cũng không được phép xuất hiện những nỗi sợ hãi vô hình đối với Dấu Thánh Giá, khiến ta không dám vinh danh Chúa Ba Ngôi hoặc né tránh mọi ánh nhìn của những người xung quanh khi ta làm Dấu Thánh Giá.

Bước đi dưới ánh sáng đức tin, Dấu Thánh Giá chính là nét đặc trưng, là dấu chỉ cho mọi người nhận ra sự hiện diện của con cái Chúa giữa đời. Một khi có Chúa Cha, Chúa Con và Chúa Thánh Thần đỡ nâng và thánh hóa, cuộc sống ta thay vì nung nấu những toan tính thế tục thấp hèn; ta sẽ ước mong và gieo vãi những hành động đầy tình bác ái hướng đến mục đích cao đẹp.

Dấu Thánh Giá – dấu ấn tình yêu được ghi khắc thật nhẹ nhàng. Dấu ấn ấy chuẩn bị tâm hồn ta đón nhận phúc lành của Chúa. Sẵn sàng đón nhận hồng ân Thiên Chúa tặng ban, ta đồng thời cũng vui nhận những điều không như mong đợi đang đến, phải đến và sẽ đến. Dấu Thánh Giá sẽ là thần dược giảm đau cho những tâm hồn sầu khổ luôn hết lòng tin tưởng vào tình thương và thánh ý của Thiên Chúa. Hơn thế nữa, vì nhận thức Chúa Giê-su đã hy sinh chính mạng sống mình bằng cái chết khổ nhục trên thập giá cho nhân loại được sống, ta ý thức hơn về việc bản thân thuộc về Thiên Chúa và khát mong được gắn kết đời sống với Người.

Lạy Chúa, biển đời luôn dậy sóng nhưng con không bơ vơ, cô đơn, lạc lối hay bị nhận chìm khi con khám phá ra bàn tay êm ái của “Chúa Cha, Chúa Con và Chúa Thánh Thần” đang ân cần nâng con lên. Thiên Chúa không để con một mình ngụp lặn giữa gian nan, khốn khó, dẫu rằng nhiều lúc con tưởng mình kiệt sức và nhân trần như đã bỏ rơi con. Ánh mắt dịu hiền của Chúa mãi ân thầm dõi theo nhịp bước chân con.

Với niền xác tín này, nguyện cho đời con là chuỗi ngày nối dài luôn có Chúa kề bên, luôn lấy Chúa là mục đích và ý nghĩa trong từng thời khắc.

Nhờ được Ba Ngôi Thiên Chúa chiếm giữ tâm hồn khi con “Nhân danh Chúa Cha và Chúa Con và Chúa Thánh Thần”, mỗi phút giây đời con sẽ là sự hân hoan kín múc nguồn nước bình an ngay từ đời này và niềm vui chan chứa ở đời sau. Amen
